[232] For whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) will cease, will indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) cease for that one there?
Yes.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena will cease, will unwholesome phenomena cease for that one there?
For those endowed with the highest path (aggamagga), for Arahants, for those who will obtain the highest path in immediate succession to [a given] mind (citta), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): for these, there, indeterminate phenomena will cease, but unwholesome phenomena will not cease for them there. For the others—those with four aggregates (catuvokāra) and those with five aggregates (pañcavokāra)—for these, there, both indeterminate phenomena will cease and unwholesome phenomena will cease.
