[117] Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu possessed of six factors may not live without dependence (nissaya): he is not possessed of the aggregate of virtue (sīlakkhandha) of one beyond training (asekha); he is not possessed of the aggregate of concentration (samādhi) of one beyond training; he is not possessed of the aggregate of wisdom of one beyond training; he is not possessed of the aggregate of liberation of one beyond training; he is not possessed of the aggregate of knowledge and vision of liberation of one beyond training; and he is of less than five years' standing (ūnapañcavasso). Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu possessed of these six factors may not live without dependence.
