[160] Now at that time, in a certain residence, on the Uposatha (uposatha) day, the newly ordained (navaka) bhikkhus, having assembled first, departed, thinking, "The elders (thera) are not yet coming." The Uposatha came to be at the wrong time (vikāla). They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow the elder bhikkhus to assemble first on the Uposatha day."
