[187] Now at that time the group-of-six (chabbaggiyā) bhikkhus confessed an offence held in common (sabhāgā āpatti). They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, an offence held in common is not to be confessed; whoever should confess it commits an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
