[32] Then the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus:¹ "Bhikkhus, I am freed from all snares, both those that are divine and those that are human. You too, bhikkhus, are freed from all snares, both those that are divine and those that are human. Wander forth, bhikkhus, on tour for the welfare of the many, for the happiness of the many, out of compassion for the world, for the good, the welfare, and the happiness of devas and humans. Let not two go by one way. Teach the Dhamma, bhikkhus, that is good in the beginning, good in the middle, and good in the end; proclaim the holy life (brahmacariya) with its meaning and its phrasing, entirely complete and pure. There are beings with little dust in their eyes who are falling away through not hearing the Dhamma; there will be those who understand the Dhamma. I too, bhikkhus, will go to Senānigama in Uruvelā to teach the Dhamma."
