[72] Then Sāriputta and Moggallāna approached the Blessed One; having approached, they bowed down with their heads at the Blessed One's feet and said this to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, may we receive the going forth (pabbajjā) in the Blessed One's presence; may we receive the full ordination (upasampadā)."
"Come, bhikkhus," said the Blessed One. "The Dhamma is well proclaimed. Live the holy life (brahmacariya) for the complete ending of suffering (dukkha)."
That very utterance was the full ordination of those venerable ones.
