[1229] With the not-root condition (na-hetu-paccaya) [as base]: in the not-object [condition] (na-ārammaṇa), nine. (Abbreviated.) In the not-non-disappearance [condition] (no-avigata), nine. With the not-root condition, the not-object condition (na-ārammaṇa-paccaya) [as base]: in the not-predominance [condition] (na-adhipati), nine … in the not-decisive-support [condition] (na-upanissaya), eight. (Abbreviated.) … in the not-non-disappearance [condition], nine. With the not-root condition, the not-object condition. (Abbreviated.) The not-decisive-support condition (na-upanissaya-paccaya), the not-prenascence condition (na-purejāta-paccaya), the not-postnascence condition (na-pacchājāta-paccaya), the not-repetition condition (na-āsevana-paccaya), the not-kamma-result condition (na-vipāka-paccaya), the not-nutriment condition (na-āhāra-paccaya) [as base]. (Abbreviated.) … in the not-non-disappearance [condition], eight. The [section] with not-root as base (na-hetu-mūlaka) is finished. Just as the counting (gaṇanā) of the negative [method] (paccanīya) for the wholesome triad (kusala-ttika) has been counted, so this too, with all [conditions] as base (sabba-mūlaka), should be grasped by one who does not become confused. The negative [method] is finished.
