Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (1) · Vol. 40 · Section 1372

[1372] A phenomenon productive of result (vipākadhammadhamma) is a condition, by mutuality condition (aññamañña-paccaya), for a phenomenon productive of result: one aggregate (khandha) that is a phenomenon productive of result is a condition for three aggregates; two aggregates for two aggregates. A phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma) is a condition, by mutuality condition, for a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result: one aggregate that is a phenomenon neither result nor productive of result is a condition for three aggregates; two aggregates for two aggregates. A phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result is a condition, by mutuality condition, for a resultant phenomenon (vipāka dhamma): at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), the base (vatthu) is a condition for the resultant aggregates.
