[1374] A resultant phenomenon (vipāko dhammo) is a condition, by dependence condition (nissaya-paccaya), for a resultant phenomenon — three. A result-producing phenomenon (vipākadhammadhammo) is a condition for a result-producing phenomenon — three. A phenomenon that is neither result nor result-producing (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon that is neither result nor result-producing … A phenomenon that is neither result nor result-producing is a condition for a resultant phenomenon: the eye base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness by dependence condition … the body base for body-consciousness; the base (vatthu) for the resultant aggregates; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), the base for the resultant aggregates. A phenomenon that is neither result nor result-producing is a condition, by dependence condition, for a result-producing phenomenon: the base for the aggregates that are result-producing phenomena.
