[1488] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to and not clingable is a condition, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is not clung to but clingable.
The noble ones (ariyā), having emerged from the path (magga), review the path, review the fruition (phala), review Nibbāna. Nibbāna is a condition, by object condition, for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū), for cleansing (vodāna), for adverting (āvajjana).
The noble ones know, through the knowledge (ñāṇa) of penetrating the minds of others (cetopariyañāṇa), the mind (citta) of one possessed of a mind that is not clung to and not clingable. Aggregates (khandhā) that are not clung to and not clingable are a condition, by object condition, for the knowledge of penetrating the minds of others, for the knowledge of recollection of past lives (pubbenivāsānussati-ñāṇa), for the knowledge of the future (anāgataṃsa-ñāṇa), for adverting.
