[1503] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya). One aggregate that is not clung to but subject to clinging is a condition for three aggregates and for the forms originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by connascence condition; two aggregates are a condition for two aggregates and for the forms originated by mind by connascence condition. One primary element (mahābhūta) that is not clung to but subject to clinging; the primary elements [are a condition] for the forms originated by mind; the external … the nutriment-originated … the temperature-originated: one primary element; the primary elements are a condition for the derivative forms (upādā-rūpa) by connascence condition.
