[1730] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is undefiled but liable to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) is a condition for a phenomenon that is undefiled but liable to defilement by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), prenascent (purejāta), postnascent (pacchājāta).
Conascent: aggregates (khandhā) that are undefiled but liable to defilement are a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by dissociation condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), aggregates that are undefiled but liable to defilement are a condition also for forms produced by kamma (kaṭattā-rūpa) by dissociation condition; the aggregates are a condition for the base (vatthu), and the base is a condition for the aggregates, by dissociation condition.
Prenascent: the eye base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), and the body base (kāyāyatana) for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa), by dissociation condition; the base is a condition for aggregates that are undefiled but liable to defilement by dissociation condition.
Postnascent: aggregates that are undefiled but liable to defilement are a condition for this prenascent body by dissociation condition.
