[1743] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is undefiled but subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) and a phenomenon that is undefiled and not subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-asaṅkilesika) are a condition for a phenomenon that is undefiled but subject to defilement by presence condition (atthi-paccaya): by way of conascence (sahajāta), postnascence (pacchājāta), nutriment (āhāra), and faculty (indriya).
Conascent: aggregates (khandhā) that are undefiled and not subject to defilement, and the primary elements (mahābhūtā), are a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by presence condition.
Postnascent: aggregates that are undefiled and not subject to defilement, and edible food (kabaḷīkāra āhāra), are a condition for this body by presence condition.
Postnascent: aggregates that are undefiled but subject to defilement, and the material life-faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya), are a condition for kamma-born forms (kaṭattā-rūpa) by presence condition.
