[1742] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is undefiled and not subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-asaṅkilesika) is a condition, by presence condition (atthi-paccaya), both for a phenomenon that is undefiled but subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) and for a phenomenon that is undefiled and not subject to defilement.
One aggregate (khandha) that is undefiled and not subject to defilement is a condition, by presence condition, for three aggregates and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
