[250] Conditioned by an unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) and an indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon, an unwholesome phenomenon arises through root condition (hetu-paccaya): conditioned by one unwholesome aggregate (khandha) and the base (vatthu), three aggregates arise; conditioned by three aggregates and the base, one aggregate arises; conditioned by two aggregates and the base, two aggregates arise.
Conditioned by an unwholesome phenomenon and an indeterminate phenomenon, an indeterminate phenomenon arises through root condition: conditioned by the unwholesome aggregates and the primary elements (mahābhūtā), mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arises.
