[287] Conditioned by a wholesome (kusala) phenomenon (dhamma), a wholesome phenomenon arises by not-postnascence condition (na-pacchājāta-paccaya) … by not-repetition condition (na-āsevana-paccaya): conditioned by the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) … Both the not-postnascence condition and the not-repetition condition are complete: seventeen [answers]. It should be elaborated in detail just as the connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya) in the positive method (anuloma).
