[486] An indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition for an indeterminate phenomenon by root condition (hetu-paccaya):
Resultant-indeterminate (vipākābyākata) and functional-indeterminate (kiriyābyākata) roots (hetu) are a condition, by root condition, for the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates (khandha) and for mind-originated (cittasamuṭṭhāna) forms (rūpa). At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), resultant-indeterminate roots are a condition, by root condition, for the associated aggregates and for kamma-born (kaṭattā) forms.
