[512] A wholesome phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition, by contiguity condition (samanantara-paccaya), for a wholesome phenomenon. The preceding wholesome aggregates (khandhā) are a condition, by contiguity condition, for the subsequent wholesome aggregates. Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū); conformity for cleansing (vodāna); change-of-lineage for the path (magga); cleansing is a condition, by contiguity condition, for the path.
