[57] Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon (dhamma), a wholesome phenomenon arises by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): Dependent on one wholesome aggregate (khandha), three aggregates arise; dependent on three aggregates, one aggregate arises; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates arise. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon, an unwholesome phenomenon arises by object condition: Dependent on one unwholesome aggregate, three aggregates arise; dependent on three aggregates, one aggregate arises; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates arise. Dependent on an indeterminate phenomenon, an indeterminate phenomenon arises by object condition: Dependent on one resultant-indeterminate (vipākābyākata) or functional-indeterminate (kiriyābyākata) aggregate, three aggregates arise; dependent on three aggregates, one aggregate arises; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates arise. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on one resultant-indeterminate aggregate, three aggregates arise; dependent on three aggregates, one aggregate arises; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates arise; dependent on the base (vatthu), the aggregates arise.
