[598] An unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition (paccaya), by path condition (magga-paccaya), for an indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon. The unwholesome path factors (maggaṅga) are a condition, by path condition, for forms (rūpa) originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna).
