[1186] Dependent on (paṭicca) a neither-trainee-nor-non-trainee (nevasekkhānāsekkha) phenomenon (dhamma), a neither-trainee-nor-non-trainee phenomenon arises, not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā): Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) neither-trainee-nor-non-trainee aggregate (khandha), three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arise]; dependent on two aggregates … At the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on the aggregates, the base (vatthu) [arises]; dependent on the base, the aggregates. Dependent on one great primary element (mahābhūta), external … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) … For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), one great primary element … Dependent on the aggregates accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) and accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt and accompanied by restlessness [arises].
