[1276] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is neither-trainee-nor-non-trainee (nevasekkhanāsekkha) is a condition for a trainee (sekkha) phenomenon by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya): Change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) is a condition for the path (magga); cleansing (vodāna) is a condition for the path by repetition condition.
