[1373] With a limited phenomenon (paritta dhamma) as condition, a limited phenomenon arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya):
With one limited aggregate (khandha) as condition, three aggregates and mind-originated materiality (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arise; with two aggregates … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), with the aggregates as condition, the base (vatthu) arises; with the base as condition, the aggregates arise; with one primary element (mahābhūta) as condition, derivative materiality (upādā-rūpa) arises; with the base as condition, limited aggregates arise.
With a limited phenomenon as condition, an exalted phenomenon (mahaggata dhamma) arises by root condition:
With the base as condition, exalted aggregates arise; at the moment of rebirth-linking, with the base as condition, exalted aggregates arise.
