[1378] Dependent on a limited phenomenon (paritta dhamma), a limited phenomenon arises through object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): Dependent on one limited aggregate (khandha), three aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on the base (vatthu), the aggregates [arise]. Dependent on the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) [arises]; dependent on the body base (kāyāyatana) … Dependent on the base, the limited aggregates [arise]. The remaining six questions should be done like [those under] the root condition (hetu-paccaya) — seven [in all]. Through predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya) there is no rebirth-linking; the seventeen questions are complete. Through immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). (Abbreviated.) Through non-disappearance condition (avigata-paccaya).
