[1387] Conditioned by a limited phenomenon (paritta dhamma), a limited phenomenon arises: not by immediacy condition (na anantara-paccayā), not by contiguity condition (na samanantara-paccayā), not by mutuality condition (na aññamañña-paccayā), not by decisive-support condition (na upanissaya-paccayā), not by prenascence condition (na purejāta-paccayā) — the twelve questions are similar to the dependence chapter (paṭicca-vāra). Not by postnascence condition (na pacchājāta-paccayā), not by repetition condition (na āsevana-paccayā): [the section] is complete. It should be indicated as "resultant" (vipāka). Mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa) should not be treated as "resultant." Not by kamma condition (na kamma-paccayā), not by kamma-result condition (na vipāka-paccayā): there is no rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), nor is there resultant. Not by nutriment condition (na āhāra-paccayā), not by faculty condition (na indriya-paccayā), not by absorption condition (na jhāna-paccayā), not by path condition (na magga-paccayā), not by association condition (na sampayutta-paccayā), not by dissociation condition (na vippayutta-paccayā), not by absence condition (no natthi-paccayā), not by disappearance condition (no vigata-paccayā).
