[1844] A phenomenon (dhamma) with the path (magga) as root (maggahetuka) is a condition for a phenomenon with the path as predominance (maggādhipati) by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya): object decisive-support (ārammaṇūpanissaya), proximity decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive-support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive-support: the first path is a condition for the second path; the third path is a condition for the fourth path, by decisive-support condition.
