[1891] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is bound to arise is a condition for an arisen phenomenon by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya).
[One contemplates] the eye that is bound to arise … the body, forms (rūpa), sounds, odours, tastes, tangibles, the base (vatthu) … the aggregates (khandhā) that are bound to arise, as impermanent, as suffering (dukkha), as not-self … grief (domanassa) arises.
Aggregates that are bound to arise are a condition for the knowledge of supernormal powers (iddhividha-ñāṇa), for the knowledge of others' minds (cetopariya-ñāṇa) … for adverting (āvajjana), by way of object condition.
