[1989] A phenomenon with a past object (atītārammaṇo dhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon with a past object by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). The preceding aggregates (khandhā) with a past object are a condition for the subsequent aggregates with a past object by immediacy condition.
