[2251] A phenomenon that is visible and impinging (sanidassana-sappaṭigha), a phenomenon that is invisible and impinging (anidassana-sappaṭigha), and a phenomenon that is invisible and non-impinging (anidassana-appaṭigha) — [these] phenomena (dhammā) — are a condition for a phenomenon that is invisible and non-impinging by presence condition (atthi-paccaya). Conascent, prenascent: the form base (rūpāyatana), the eye base (cakkhāyatana), and eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) are a condition for the aggregates accompanied by eye-consciousness by presence condition.
The absence condition (natthi-paccaya) and the disappearance condition (vigata-paccaya) are similar to the proximity condition (anantara-paccaya).
The non-disappearance condition (avigata-paccaya) is similar to the presence condition (atthi-paccaya).
