[475] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by rapture (pītisahagata), a phenomenon accompanied by rapture arises, not by predominance condition (na adhipati-paccayā). "Not predominance" (na adhipati): at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), [to be given] in full. "Not by prenascence condition (na purejāta-paccayā)": it should be specified as "in the immaterial (arūpa)," and also as "at the moment of rebirth-linking." … Not by postnascence condition (na pacchājāta-paccayā); not by repetition condition (na āsevana-paccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon accompanied by rapture, a phenomenon accompanied by rapture arises, not by kamma condition (na kamma-paccayā): dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by rapture, [there arises] volition (cetanā) accompanied by rapture. Dependent on a phenomenon accompanied by rapture, a phenomenon accompanied by pleasure (sukhasahagata) arises, not by kamma condition: dependent on the aggregates accompanied by rapture, [there arises] volition accompanied by pleasure. By this method, the ten questions (pañhā) should be elaborated in detail. Dependent on a phenomenon accompanied by rapture, a phenomenon accompanied by rapture arises, not by kamma-result condition (na vipāka-paccayā) … [to be given] in full. There is no rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi). …
