[741] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabba) is a condition, by presence condition (atthi-paccaya), for a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing and for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva dassanena na bhāvanāya pahātabba). One aggregate (khandha) to be abandoned by seeing [is a condition] for three aggregates and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); two aggregates … A phenomenon to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabba) [is a condition] for a phenomenon to be abandoned by development … Three [cases]. It should be done in the same way as [the case of] "by seeing."
