[826] A phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya-pahātabba-hetuka) arises conditioned by a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned by development and a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba-hetuka), by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya):
Conditioned by one aggregate whose root is to be abandoned by development and by the base (vatthu), three aggregates [arise]. Three [ways].
[These are] similar to [those under] "by seeing" (dassanena).
By immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya), by contiguity condition (samanantara-paccaya).
