[857] Conjoined with a phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabba-hetuka), a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned by seeing arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): Three aggregates (khandhā) conjoined with one aggregate whose root is to be abandoned by seeing; two aggregates conjoined with two aggregates.
