[948] A phenomenon (dhamma) with a root to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka) is a condition, by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), for a phenomenon with a root to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka).
Postnascent: aggregates (khandhā) with roots to be abandoned by development are a condition, by postnascence condition, for this prenascent (purejāta) body.
