[980] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka) is a condition, by presence condition (atthi-paccaya), for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka): conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta).
Conascent: the aggregates (khandhā) with roots to be abandoned by seeing are a condition, by presence condition, for forms (rūpa) originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
Conascent: the aggregates accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) are a condition, by presence condition, for delusion (moha) and for forms originated by mind.
Postnascent: the aggregates with roots to be abandoned by seeing are a condition, by presence condition, for this prenascent (purejāta) body.
