[273] An immaterial phenomenon (arūpī dhammo) is a condition for an immaterial phenomenon by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya): The preceding immaterial aggregates (khandhā), each in succession, are a condition for the succeeding immaterial aggregates, each in succession, and for the attainment of fruition (phalasamāpatti), by immediacy condition. It is a condition by contiguity condition (samanantara-paccaya). It is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya): seven. Here there is no combination (ghaṭanā). It is a condition by mutuality condition (aññamañña-paccaya): six. It is a condition by dependence condition (nissaya-paccaya): seven questions (pañhā). Here there is no combination.
