[413] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a taint (āsava) and associated with taints (āsavasampayutta) is a condition for a phenomenon that is both a taint and associated with taints by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); it is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
