[522] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a tie (gantha) is a condition for a phenomenon that is a tie by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); it is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
