[689] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is misapprehension (parāmāsa) is a condition for a phenomenon that is misapprehension by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); it is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya). A phenomenon that is misapprehension is a condition for a phenomenon that is not misapprehension by object condition; it is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by decisive-support condition; it is a condition by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya). A phenomenon that is misapprehension is a condition for a phenomenon that is misapprehension and for a phenomenon that is not misapprehension by object condition; it is a condition by decisive-support condition. A phenomenon that is not misapprehension is a condition for a phenomenon that is not misapprehension by object condition; it is a condition by connascence condition; it is a condition by decisive-support condition; it is a condition by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya); it is a condition by postnascence condition; it is a condition by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya); it is a condition by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya); it is a condition by faculty condition (indriya-paccaya). A phenomenon that is not misapprehension is a condition for a phenomenon that is misapprehension by object condition; it is a condition by connascence condition; it is a condition by decisive-support condition; it is a condition by prenascence condition. A phenomenon that is not misapprehension is a condition for a phenomenon that is misapprehension and for a phenomenon that is not misapprehension by object condition; it is a condition by connascence condition; it is a condition by decisive-support condition; it is a condition by prenascence condition. A phenomenon that is misapprehension and a phenomenon that is not misapprehension are a condition for a phenomenon that is misapprehension by object condition; they are a condition by decisive-support condition. A phenomenon that is misapprehension and a phenomenon that is not misapprehension are a condition for a phenomenon that is not misapprehension by object condition; they are a condition by connascence condition; they are a condition by decisive-support condition; they are a condition by postnascence condition.
