[478] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with fetters (saññojana) is a condition for a phenomenon associated with fetters by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); it is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya). A phenomenon associated with fetters is a condition for a phenomenon dissociated from fetters by way of object condition; it is a condition by way of connascence condition; it is a condition by way of decisive-support condition; it is a condition by way of postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya); it is a condition by way of kamma condition (kamma-paccaya). A phenomenon associated with fetters is a condition for both a phenomenon associated with fetters and a phenomenon dissociated from fetters by way of object condition; it is a condition by way of connascence condition; it is a condition by way of decisive-support condition. A phenomenon dissociated from fetters is a condition for a phenomenon dissociated from fetters by way of object condition; it is a condition by way of connascence condition; it is a condition by way of decisive-support condition; it is a condition by way of prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya); it is a condition by way of postnascence condition; it is a condition by way of kamma condition; it is a condition by way of nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya); it is a condition by way of faculty condition (indriya-paccaya).
