[440] A phenomenon that is a fetter (saññojano dhammo) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon that is a fetter by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya). A phenomenon that is a fetter is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a fetter (nosaññojano dhammo) by way of object condition; is a condition by way of connascence condition; is a condition by way of decisive-support condition; is a condition by way of postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya). A phenomenon that is a fetter is a condition for a phenomenon that is a fetter and a phenomenon that is not a fetter by way of object condition; is a condition by way of connascence condition; is a condition by way of decisive-support condition. A phenomenon that is not a fetter is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a fetter by way of object condition; is a condition by way of connascence condition; is a condition by way of decisive-support condition; is a condition by way of prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of postnascence condition; is a condition by way of kamma condition (kamma-paccaya); is a condition by way of nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya); is a condition by way of faculty condition (indriya-paccaya). A phenomenon that is not a fetter is a condition for a phenomenon that is a fetter by way of object condition; is a condition by way of connascence condition; is a condition by way of decisive-support condition; is a condition by way of prenascence condition. A phenomenon that is not a fetter is a condition for a phenomenon that is a fetter and a phenomenon that is not a fetter by way of object condition; is a condition by way of connascence condition; is a condition by way of decisive-support condition; is a condition by way of prenascence condition. A phenomenon that is a fetter and a phenomenon that is not a fetter are a condition for a phenomenon that is a fetter by way of object condition; are a condition by way of connascence condition; are a condition by way of decisive-support condition.
