[89] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots (sahetuka) is a condition for a phenomenon with roots by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta) and asynchronous (nānākkhaṇika).
Conascent: volition (cetanā) with roots is a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā) by kamma condition.
Asynchronous: volition with roots is a condition for the resultant (vipāka) aggregates with roots by kamma condition.
A phenomenon with roots is a condition for a phenomenon without roots (ahetuka) by kamma condition: conascent and asynchronous.
Conascent: volition with roots is a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhānā rūpā) by kamma condition.
Asynchronous: volition with roots is a condition for the resultant aggregates without roots and for kamma-born forms (kaṭattā rūpā) by kamma condition.
