[10] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) with an object (sārammaṇa), a phenomenon with an object arises through object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): conditioned by one aggregate (khandha) with an object, three aggregates [arise]; [conditioned by] two aggregates … rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi). Conditioned by a phenomenon without an object (anārammaṇa), a phenomenon with an object arises through object condition: conditioned by the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) [arises]; conditioned by the body sense base (kāyāyatana), body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa) [arises]; conditioned by the base (vatthu), the aggregates with an object [arise]; rebirth-linking. Conditioned by a phenomenon with an object and a phenomenon without an object, a phenomenon with an object arises through object condition: conditioned by one aggregate accompanied by eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa-sahagata) and by the eye sense base, three aggregates [arise]; [conditioned by] two aggregates … accompanied by body-consciousness … conditioned by one aggregate with an object and by the base, three aggregates [arise]; [conditioned by] two aggregates … rebirth-linking.
