[137] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with mind (cittasampayutta) is a condition for a phenomenon associated with mind by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya): the successively preceding aggregates (khandha) associated with mind … are a condition for the attainment of fruition (phalasamāpatti) by immediacy condition.
[It is] a condition by contiguity condition (samanantara-paccaya). [It is] a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya): seven questions similar to the Dependent [Chapter] (paṭicca[vāra]); there is no combination (ghaṭanā).
[It is] a condition by mutuality condition (aññamañña-paccaya): six [questions] similar to the Dependent [Chapter].
[It is] a condition by dependence condition (nissaya-paccaya): seven questions similar to the Conditioned Chapter (paccayavāra); there is no combination.
