[190] In the root condition (hetu-paccaya), nine; in the object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), nine. All the immaterial (arūpa) should be drawn out in the same way as the mind-origination dyad (cittasamuṭṭhāna-duka). In the predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), nine; the great primary elements (mahābhūtā) should be included in all six questions; under predominance there is none in three. In the proximity condition (anantara-paccaya), nine; in the contiguity condition (samanantara-paccaya), nine; in the conascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya), nine; in the mutuality condition (aññamañña-paccaya), nine; in the support condition (nissaya-paccaya), nine; in the decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya), nine; in the prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya), five; in the repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), five; in the kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), nine; everywhere [i.e., in all the remaining conditions], nine; in the non-disappearance condition (avigata-paccaya), nine.
