[191] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) conascent with mind (cittasahabhū), a phenomenon conascent with mind arises by not-root condition (na-hetupaccaya):
Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) conascent with mind, two aggregates and form (rūpa) that is conascent with mind and originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna) [arise]; dependent on two aggregates …
At the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on the aggregates accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness [arises].
In this way all nine questions should be done; "rootless" should be specified; as it is obtained in the positive method (anuloma), so should it be done. Three [questions involve] delusion: they should be done in just the same way as in the mind-originated dyad (cittasamuṭṭhāna-duka).
