Cittasaṁsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhānduka

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (4) · Vol. 43 · Section 234

[234] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) conjoined with mind and originated by mind (cittasaṃsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhāna), a phenomenon conjoined with mind and originated by mind arises — not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā). In this way nine questions (pañhā) should be formulated. In the condition chapter (paccayavāra), the fivefold consciousness (pañcaviññāṇa) should also be included; delusion (moha) [occurs] in only three.
