[257] Dependent on an internal phenomenon (ajjhattika dhamma), an external phenomenon (bāhira dhamma) arises by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): dependent on mind (citta), the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā) [arise]; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇe), dependent on mind, the associated aggregates [arise].
Dependent on an external phenomenon, an external phenomenon arises by object condition: dependent on one external aggregate, two aggregates [arise]; [dependent on] two aggregates …; at the moment of rebirth-linking, dependent on the base (vatthu), the aggregates [arise].
