[51] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) that is mind (citta), a phenomenon that is not mind (no-citta) arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): conditioned by mind, the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā) and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arise]; at rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi).
Conditioned by a phenomenon that is not mind, a phenomenon that is not mind arises by root condition: conditioned by one aggregate that is not mind, two aggregates and mind-originated form [arise]; conditioned by two aggregates …; at rebirth-linking, up to the primary elements (mahābhūtā); conditioned by the base (vatthu), the aggregates that are not mind [arise].
