[52] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) that is mind (citta), a phenomenon that is not mind arises by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): one (case), the same as in the dependence section (paṭicca-vāra). Conditioned by a phenomenon that is not mind, a phenomenon that is not mind arises by object condition: conditioned by one aggregate (khandha) that is not mind, two aggregates [arise]; conditioned by two aggregates … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), conditioned by the base (vatthu), the aggregates that are not mind [arise]; conditioned by the eye base (cakkhāyatana), the aggregates accompanying eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) [arise]; conditioned by the body base (kāyāyatana), the aggregates accompanying body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa) [arise]; conditioned by the base, the aggregates that are not mind [arise]. Conditioned by a phenomenon that is not mind, a phenomenon that is mind arises by object condition: conditioned by the aggregates that are not mind, mind [arises]; conditioned by the base, mind [arises]; at the moment of rebirth-linking, conditioned by the aggregates that are not mind, mind [arises]; at the moment of rebirth-linking, conditioned by the base, mind [arises]; conditioned by the eye base, eye-consciousness [arises]; conditioned by the body base, body-consciousness [arises].
